One of my all time favorite things to do is explore the landscape of beautiful British Columbia. There are so many different towns, mountains, rivers, and lakes to check out. One place I go back to countless times, is Squamish. Situated between Vancouver and Whistler, the town is the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and cabin cozy escape.

A dreamy destination for outdoor enthusiasts and cabin connoisseurs, Squamish has everything you need. You can enjoy the view at the top of the Sea to Sky Gondola, hike the breathtaking Panorama Ridge in Garibaldi Park, or take a dip in the easily accessible Brohm Lake. The local food scene is also filled with funky cafes, craft breweries, and classic Pacific Northwest cuisine. Whether you are looking to hike or simply unwind and dine, this mountain town offers one of the best experiences in BC.

Cabin Rental Squamish

Tucked away in the woods of Squamish is Sunwolf. It is perched on the edge of the Cheekye River. This is a family owned and operated cabin resort. We booked a one bedroom cottage at the Sunwolf Resort. We have now found a new place we will be coming back to again and again.

The grounds are well maintained, with clear paths and trim cottages. The welcoming tree-filtered sunlight fills the whole setting with a true sense of nature. The babbling River really is “right there”, with an easy access point and lots of spots to sit and admire.

“Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat.”

The cabins are clean, fresh, and updated with crisp paint and perfectly executed rustic charm. The beautiful bathroom had a deep bathtub, with eucalyptus soap, shampoo, and conditioner. We kept the fire going on those cool spring morning, with lots of accessible kindling and logs on hand. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed to prepare meals.

Spicy wood smoke and delicious cooking smells fill the air as Fergie’s restaurant starts production in the morning. Centered in the heart of the resort this Breakfast/Brunch restaurant, embodies a mix or modern and rustic charm. Offering locally sourced food and sustainable practices, it is no wonder it is a very popular spot for an everyday meal or celebrating something special. Make sure you try the fried potatoes, the wood smoke taste and crispness truly completes the cabin experience.
